PTFP Halloween Header for 2014

Hiya! We have been hard at work creating, adding, and editing pages for you to enjoy! Here’s some updates we’ve done to the PTFP. Trick or treat, we have all the tips you can eat! A bit cheesy, but you know, it rhymes and it has to do with Halloween and the blog. Who doesn’t love rhyming? I decided to do a different style header for this Halloween than I usually do, and I hope you guys like it! Any suggestions are highly appreciated. After all, we want you to like it.

Next up is our background. It’s basically the same as our other background except a bit darker. I think it adds more of a “spooky” feel to it when added with the header. Again, suggestions are appreciated, and I’ll include a contact form at the end of the post if you want to send in your own header or background!

There’s a Halloween theme, too, that the PTFP used last year, and I was wondering if you wanted to use it. Here’s a photo:

Halloween Theme - Monster

The photo of Frankenstein can be replaced with a Spider, Vampire, Jack-O-Lantern, and Skull, or it can stay the same. Comment what you think of the theme! Should it change to the Monster theme or stay the same?

Also, I will be hiring a new author soon that will mainly be posting updates from the Creators’ Blog. She is new to the Poptropica community; well, actually, she’s creating a WordPress account tomorrow. XD I hope you guys like her! She’s played Poptropica before, but she’s just now starting to really play it often again. 😉 Anyway, here’s a contact form if you want to send in a header or background, and you can fill that out or email us directly at poptropicatip@gmail.com:

P.S. You may notice some missing pages. That’s because we’re either editing them or they’re being deleted. We are also working on some new pages and activities for you to enjoy! The 10 TFP may — not definitely — be deleted soon, but if it is, it will be replaced in a much more organized fashion. :mrgreen: And sorry about my inactivity! Let’s just say my homework this weekend consisted of 66 math problems, and I have 3 other projects to due by the end of the month!

ANNOUNCING THE NEWEST POPTROPICA ISLAND!!!

Captain Crawfish has announced the next Poptropica island!!!

But here’s the cool part-instead of waiting weeks and weeks for it all to come out, they will come out with sections of the islands at different times! In other words? MORE NEW POPTROPICA!!!! As we predicted, it’s going to be a survival island. Anyway, sorry for the short post, but I’m in a hurry!

Updates!

Header: We got a new header, which has PTFP’s traditional colors: green, yellow, and blue! SD created this header, so giver her a round of applause! Here it is:

Guides: Nameless is constantly making new guides for the blog, so if you need help, ask her to make one! I’m sure she will accept. 🙂 Thanks, Nameless!

There will be minor and some major changes to the blog throughout the month (mostly minor), so look forward to those. Snapshot is also getting updated more frequently than it has in the last few months, so guess, guess, and don’t forget to…..guess! We Have a Lot to Catch Up On!

Hello, everybody! My Internet finally renewed, so I’ll be able to be a lot more active. Well, there have been a LOT of Creators’ posts since I left, so here they are from oldest to newest:

Galactic Hot Dogs

  1. Have you checked out FunBrain, another cool site made by Jeff Kinney? Well, check it out here if you haven’t! There’s a graphic novel that has been released, called Galactic Hot Dogs, and it’s about “he wildest food truck cook-off in the galaxy! Well, and also about evil queens, gigantic space battles, and an unlikely hero.” It will be released every Monday.

  2. “What a difference a screen makes

    Poptropolis Games had some of the best designs we’ve ever done. There was only one problem: they were too big for the screen! What you saw on the original Poptropolis Games ended up being cropped, like so:

    But when the Games re-emerge (you are doing your part, right?), you’ll finally be able to appreciate the amazing scenery we’ve created for you. Just like this!

    There’s more where that came from. So keep an eye out for more news about Poptropolis Games 2013 — and keep on digging!

  3. Five years ago, our Creators brought forth the Creators’ Blog (Lincoln reference). Anyway, that’s right! It’s the Creators’ Blog’s 5th year anniversary! :mrgreen: The first post ever made was by Vlad the Viking, which was a sneak peek of an unknown island, which we know now as Astro-Knights. Congrats, CB!
  4. Now, for the BIG finale! Poptropolis Games is rising next week! Yep, it’s getting close. You can see the official Poptropolis Games 2013 video here:
  5. Now, everybody, start digging for Seraphim! No, just kidding. 😉 Dig for your own tribe, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
