Hey guys! The Daily Pop-In has started, as we warned you a few days ago. Since there will be prizes every week day until August 7, This post will be stuck to the front of our site and we will keep adding the prizes and promo codes every day, so be sure to check back all the time!
Hey guys! SD here with a cool Poptropica update. First off, there is a new unbearable ad that has appeared.
This ad is for the pawsitively amazing Cartoon Network show: We Bare Bears. You bearly have to to anything to get an awesome Bear Stack hat. All you have to do is watch a short video. 😛
Okay guys, thanks for bearing with me through all of those beary punny bear puns. I thought for sure you would go all grizzly on me. XD
*cough* Aaaaanyway, moving on…
There are two new items in the Poptropica Store, each only 75 credits! First is Hat Trick, which has three different hats included in it, but it’s different for girls and boys. The second item is Capes ‘n’ Cowls, which includes three different capes with hoods.
So go visit the Poptropica Store to check them out! 😀
The last Hall of Fame winner is here, so let’s get straight to the point! The winner is… Sneaky Bear!
Sneaky Bear can now be found on main street of Super Power Island.
She has replaced yet another NPC, but this time the Poptropican she replaced was a character that always had a random outfit every time you visit.
Well the Hall of Fame is now over, but the Creators say that “the doors of the Poptropica Hall of Fame may one day open again.”
Moving on, we have some… good and bad news.
Good news first! 😀
You know how when you finish an island you receive 50 credits? Not anymore! But don’t worry, it didn’t just get taken away. We now earn 150 credits! 🙂
While this is great for when you need to save up for something in the store, there are actually a lot of conflicted feelings about this.
Before everyone gets all fussy, I want to share my opinion on the matter.
If we are getting more credits, we need more things to buy! I think we should have more Store items and costumes to choose from. Stuff that isn’t only for members!
I think that the amount of credits we earn after the quest should be based on the island’s play length and difficulty. The Creators would just have to estimate this when making the island.
Okay, so why is everyone conflicted about this? Well, here comes the bad news.
Will more islands face the same fate? Hopefully not! Poptropica has been the popular site it is because of many things. One of those things being that members don’t totally rule over non-members.
Hey guys just a quick post to let everyone know that Shrink Ray (SUI) will be out for everyone on December 4, which is this Thursday! And remember that the Shrink Ray Gun is free in the Poptropica Store!
In other news, since the release of the Poptropica App on Android, the amount of downloads has been amazing! Nearly at a rate of 6,000 per day! Now that’s pretty cool.
It’s a bit more difficult to tell what this sneak peek is for. Along with the image, the Creators said “We too get that busy, overwhelmed, confusing feeling.” That also doesn’t give anything away, at least not for me. However, the font used in “AHHHHHHH!” looks like it may be for Galactic Hot Dogs. What do you guys think? Comment below!
Well, that’s all for now! Stay popping Poptropicans! 🙂
A lot of been happening on Poptropica lately, including releases of islands, birthday parties, and Poptropica-ness all together! Let’s recap all these important details that makes Poptropica, well, Poptropica — a game full of surprises and plain amazingness.
Poptropica’s Birthday Party & More
Yesterday, September 18th, Poptropica announced its 7th birthday! 7 years, and Poptropica is still growing everyday with thousands of players and new islands released rather frequently. To celebrate this special occasion, Poptropica has released a 7th Birthday Balloon card on the Poptropica Store. Make sure to get it while it lasts! For years since its been released, Poptropica has celebrated its birthday a different day each year in September. This has always been a mystery to all of the Poptropicans, but Slippery Raptor may have found the answer on Poptropica’s Twitter (@Poptropica):
So, Poptropica’s birthday takes up a whole month of the year! After so much work, I think it was well worth it to spend so much time on Poptropica. Without it, where would we be? Either way, congrats on the 7th birthday, Poptropica! Also, Poptropica has released a hidden 7th Birthday Costume in the Common Rooms! Find a golden balloon and pop it to get the costume:
Thanks to Pixel for this photo.
I haven’t had any luck. I’ve went to about 10 Common Rooms, and I still can’t find the balloon. 😦 What about you?
On other news, the Poptropica Help Blog (PHB) is having a party tomorrow to commemorate both Poptopica and a current author on the PHB, who was also a previous author here — Samwow5! Tomorrow he’s also celebrating his 15th birthday, so make sure to join the fun!
PoptropiCon for All!
Long awaited, PoptropiCon has now been released to everyone! Don’t forget to visit our guide page if you get stuck while completing the island.
PoptropiCon is the hottest ticket in town. It’ll take all your wits — and more than a few disguises — to crash the party!
If you prefer listening over reading, Poptropica has its own video guide to let you stay up to date for those listening learners, made by Captain Crawfish himself:
What do you think? I’m finishing up the island right now, and so far it’s one of my favourites! It hasn’t been released to the app yet, but there’s still plenty to play on the official Poptropica game. Make sure to visit your rank on the World Map, and tell us in the comments! I guess that wraps it up, so just keep being as Poptropican as your Poptropican can be.
P.S. Jeff Heim, the music director for Poptropica, released his username to the public (thanks, HPuterpop!), so anybody can friend him on Poptropica. His username is jeffheim88. He hasn’t completed any islands, but he does have full Membership and is in the Black Flags tribe!
