March Madness Winner

Just like many of us hoped, Red Dragon Island has won March Madness! Now non-members can once again play this amazing island. #RedDragonIslandFTW

Monkey Wrench Appdate

For all of you who play the mobile app, there’s some good news for you! Monkey Wrench Island has recently been added to the app. Have fun, and remember to avoid Crusoe as much as possible.

Wimpy Kid…Wimpiness

In celebration of the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid book coming out nine years ago, the Creators have opened up Wimpy Wonderland and Wimpy Boardwalk to all, and doubled the credits you earn if you complete these islands for the first time. That’s 600 credits in total! Also, the Creators re-released a shirt from what I like to call the olden days of Poptropica, and some ads that perfectly match the occasion!

What I mean by that is wimpy. I mean, those have to be the worst ads to appear in Poptropica yet. Eh, whatever.

Some Other News

The Creators have recently posted another sneak peak, the first one this month:

I have no clue about what this is about. We’ll have to just wait and see, I guess.

Other than that, there hasn’t really been any other updates in the past few weeks. No new island, nothing. Not even another monkey follower. Apparently the Creators are super busy, but they can’t announce anything till at least the end of the month, as they said in this comment on the PHB:

So hang in there, Poptropicans. We just have to wait a few more weeks.
