What is 24 Carrot BETA Carrotene Island?

We’ve been working very hard behind the scenes on some big improvements to Poptropica. After hinting at them in this blog, now we’re almost ready to unveil them! But first, we need to test them out — and we’ll be asking Poptropica Members to help us do that.

Soon, we’ll be releasing a special card to Poptropica Members that we’re calling “24 Carrot BETA Carrotene Island.” It’s our way of letting you help beta test the amazing new features we’ll soon be rolling out for everyone. Features like:

• A full soundtrack (music and effects!)
• A bigger screen
• Better navigation

Because it’s a beta, some things that you’re used to doing on Poptropica will be missing. For instance, you won’t be able to save your game in the beta test, or use the costumizer. Don’t worry: we’ll be adding everything back in by the time the testing period is over.

By playing the beta, you’ll help us to make sure we get everything to work right so that everyone can enjoy it. As thanks, all Members who try the beta will get an extra-special Beta Tester costume, pictured above, which you can keep forever. So keep an eye out right here — we’ll let you know the moment that 24 Carrot BETA Carrotene Island becomes available.
